Congregational Care

Mayflower Congregational Care teams provide valuable support directly to the church as volunteers sharing time and resources to enhance engagement and fellowship.

Teams work on a 2-month rotation scheduling support for the congregation.

Some of the tasks team arrange support for are:

  • Greeters and Treats for Sunday mornings.
  • Sending Cards to Adults on the prayer list who struggle with challenges.
  • Sending Sympathy Cards to those on the prayer list who mourn the death of a family member.
  • Sending Birthday Cards to those with milestone birthdays - 75, 80, 85, 90 or older.
  • Sending Cards to Children on the prayer list and families with new babies.

Are you willing to greet before a Sunday service or bring a treat for a Sunday coffee reception?

During our September-October 2019 rotation, you’ll be helping to extend Mayflower’s hospitality to friends and families and show that we care!

Our committees continue to be grateful for the generous support of the congregation.

If you would like to join us in our mission of caring for our Mayflower community or have any questions regarding Mayflower Congregational Care committees or opportunities, please contact Murry Idema.
