Andrea Koster and Allison Houlihan will be teaching beginner Mahjong lessons on Tuesday evenings at Mayflower. Cost is $90
Tuesday, September 17th - Mahj 101
Our Mahj 101 class will introduce you to the tiles, the NMJL card, game set up and dealing, the Charleston, and ends with game play. We will continue coaching as many games as time allows (usually two full games).
After class you'll feel cautiously optimistic about your new mahj skills! You'll leave with a folder reviewing all you've learned and a new obsession - that's our goal!
Tuesday, October 8 - Mahj 102
Mahj 102 starts with a quick review of material covered in the 101 and continues with the finer points of etiquette/sportsmanship, rules, hacks, and strategy. Mahj 102 can be customized to the group, addressing specific questions and areas of interest for your table and included two hours of instruction
